Experience
Since joining I&D Law Firm in 2019, Laila has worked in various practice areas, such as construction law, telecommunication, employment, hospitality and aviation matters. In addition, she worked on matters related to competition, trade, and data protection.
Before pursuing her law degree, Laila studied Political Science and Psychology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. During that time, she interned at Kosheri, Rashed, and Riad Law Firm, in Cairo and Eversheds Sutherland, in London. In 2017, Laila commenced her two-year accelerated LLB program at the University of Edinburgh. She was a member of the Edinburgh Mooting Society, the Social Secretary of the Graduate Law Society, and a Peer Mentor part of the Peer Mentoring Project at the University. Beyond her university experience, Laila trained at ExxonMobil Egypt in the Legal Department in 2018.
Laila B. Elibrachy leads the team advising a major agricultural seed company in various corporate and technical aspects of their operation in Egypt.
Most recently, Laila has been heading the newly created Construction Department.
