Investigation
We have recently added an investigation to the scope of work of the Employment Department. The Egyptian law does not allow proper discovery as is common in other jurisdictions. Therefore, in preparation for any case, and to evaluate the potential of success, the investigation of facts gains special importance. I&D was first in Egypt to provide such a service. The work is complex. It includes a strategy on what documents are legally relevant to the potential claims in addition to sourcing such documents or facts. We expect other firms to trail in mimicking our specialization but would find it more challenging to mimic our abilities in the field.
