We have recently added investigation to the scope of work of the Employment Department. The Egyptian law does not allow proper discovery as is common in other jurisdictions. Therefore, in preparation of any case, and to evaluate the potential of success, investigation of facts gains special importance. I&D was the first in Egypt to provide such a service. The work is complex. It includes a strategy on what documents are legally relevant to the potential claims in addition to sourcing such documents or facts. We expect other firms to trail in mimicking our specialization but would find it more challenging to mimic our abilities in the field.
