Laila El Atfy

Before joining I&D Law Firm in 2024, Laila commenced her career at two Law Firms in Cairo honing and enriching her legal skills. She was engaged in several aspects of legal research, conducting legal due diligence on companies, drafting and revising required agreements of various nature and documents of general corporate governance, financial mortgage, consumer finance and leasing industries for various securitization transactions. Laila’s academic prowess anchors in a background of L.L.B from the United Kingdom coupled with an accelerated L.L.B Law degree from Cairo University. During her studies, she interned at ExxonMobil Egypt Law Department. As part of the Energy team, Laila assisted in advising clients on matters related to upstream, midstream and downstream operations in addition to renewables projects. Laila is currently enhancing her capabilities by undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Exam to register herself as a Solicitor in the United Kingdom in addition to being an Egyptian registered lawyer.
